Ask your school to pay for TeachRealMath

Most teachers get TeachRealMath reimbursed or purchased by their school. This page has everything you and your business office need: a ready-to-send request email, our W-9, vendor details, and how purchase orders work.

The funding request email

Copy it, fill in the highlighted parts, and send it to whoever approves purchases at your school. Delete the Department sentence if you're asking just for yourself.

Subject: Funding request: TeachRealMath license for my math classesHi [approver's name], I'm requesting funding for TeachRealMath, an interactive math platform I'd like to use with my [grade level] classes this year. What it is: real-world math activities aligned to our standards, where students apply each concept inside a live scenario. Every activity is auto-graded and randomized per student, so it works for classwork, homework, and sub days, and it runs alongside our core curriculum in teaching order. What it costs: $100.00 per teacher, per year for a Pro license. If other math teachers here want it too, a Department license covers up to 5 of us for $399.00 on a single invoice. Why I'm asking: it gives me standards-aligned practice that grades itself, real-time visibility into who is stuck, and ready-to-go sub plans, which means more of my time goes to teaching instead of scoring. Purchasing is simple. The vendor, ActiveLearningLabs LLC, provides quotes and a W-9 and accepts purchase orders. Their purchasing page is here: https://www.teachrealmath.com/funding-request You can try an activity yourself, no account needed, at https://www.teachrealmath.com Thanks for considering, [your name]

How purchase orders work

Three steps, and licenses activate on the PO, not on payment.

  1. Request a quote. Tell us the plan and teacher count, and we send a formal quote your school can attach to a requisition.
  2. Your school issues the PO. Email it to support@activelearninglabs.com. We require the PO before invoicing.
  3. We invoice and activate. Licenses are turned on as soon as we receive the PO, so teachers don't wait on the payment cycle.
